I am 40 years old, married, 6 kids and living in New York. I am a certified public accountant and surprisingly love my job.

I started this blog in order to keep my friends and family updated on our lives and to be able to keep a public journal of the goings on of John Volter.

Over the years, I have kept a journal for a week or two at a time and then I forget about them and move on, yet every time I find an old journal and pick it up, I find it amazing to look back and reminisce about how I felt in those particular moments. I decided that the reason I never kept up with any of my journals was because whenever I would get busy or feel like I didn’t have any time I would just put it on the back burner. I figured that having it up and available for me to update online would make it a lot easier. So with that said, this is my journal, blog, updater, etc.

Recently I met with a company called Apex Professionals LLC and they are a company that helps timeshare owners out of their unwanted contracts. When my wife and I bought our timeshare several years ago we thought  that we would always use it and go on vacation every year, but as my accounting firm became busier and grew every year, it became harder to go. Apex Professionals LLC did a great job of explaining to us the liability that comes with timeshare ownership, and they were able to help us get out of the contract.

It was such a relief to not have to worry about our timeshares ever again. The maintenance fees continued to get more and more expensive every year and when we couldn’t even use our week every year it just didn’t make sense to continue owning it. Apex Professionals LLC saved us a lot of money.
